These extremely high-quality Dual Voice Coil (DVC) subwoofers from the BOLD series are the key to clean and powerful sound reproduction in the lowest frequency range, even at high volumes. This guarantees a clean and harmonious sound image across all frequency ranges, even at high sound pressure levels. The cone is made of a very lightweight, high-strength poly-carbon composite, and the specially developed butyl rubber surround ensures an extremely linear frequency response. The significantly oversized voice coil operates very efficiently and is optimally cooled within the unconventional magnet drive. Despite its compact size, this subwoofer can reproduce frequencies below 50 Hz very cleanly. The ventilation opening on the back of the magnet has been made as large as possible and rounded to effectively minimize airflow noise and optimize the necessary pressure equalization.
