The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between i7 and i3, created for discerning music lovers with a burning ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A fusion of phenomenal sound and unsurpassed practicality: Developed with the vision of unique loudspeaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. The impedances of all loudspeakers are perfectly matched to the combination with our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. Furthermore, we have implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies, which offer unparalleled practical benefits. Woofer and subwoofer in one – The best of both worlds. The Ci5 S200FM, a 200 mm hybrid loudspeaker, strikes the perfect balance between a woofer and a subwoofer, delivering exceptional performance across the board thanks to its remarkably large excursion, high power handling, and volume. With its linear excursion of +/- 7.8 mm (D2: +/- 7.5 mm), controlled and clear bass reproduction is always guaranteed – even at high levels and low frequencies. The goal was to develop a loudspeaker that, despite its extremely shallow mounting depth of 47 mm, functions perfectly in BMW under-seat and Mercedes firewall applications without any compromises.
Thanks to FlexMount200 technology, the Ci5 S200FM can be easily and seamlessly integrated, and its design opens up entirely new integration possibilities.

High-Tech Polymer Composite Basket

All HELIX COMPOSE i7, i5, and i3 speaker baskets are made of a high-tech polymer composite material, which is additionally reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnet system and providing maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, this allows for significantly more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installation in confined spaces.

Flexible Connection: 1 x 2 or 2 x 2 Ohms

The drivers are available as either a 1 x 2 Ohm (S2) or 2 x 2 Ohm (D2) version. This woofer is the 1 x 2 Ohm version. This means that for every conceivable amplifier configuration – whether monoblock, two-channel amplifier, or multi-channel amplifier – there is always a suitable woofer to get the maximum performance.

FlexMount200 – Universal meets vehicle-specific

FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings, which allows the installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in a virtually unlimited number of vehicles. This transforms the universal loudspeaker into a vehicle-specific loudspeaker in no time, allowing for easy and acoustically optimized installation in the original mounting position of any vehicle using the appropriate FlexMount ring.
