This RetroSound R-TW8 series subwoofer delivers exceptional performance in an ultra-thin design for use in small enclosures. Neodymium magnets offer high power handling with a mounting depth of only 2 inches. These subwoofers are built on a rigid cast aluminum basket and feature injected poly-mica cones and Santoprene surrounds for smooth, natural, distortion-free bass reproduction. The R-TW82 and R-TW84 are optimized for sealed enclosures from 1 to 1 cubic foot to accommodate a variety of installation applications in confined spaces. These subwoofers feature a vented pole piece and a single 1/4-inch voice coil on a Kapton former. Power handling is rated at a maximum of 250 watts RMS / 500 watts.
