The legendary BRAX MATRIX loudspeaker series – synonymous with top-level sound quality from the very beginning – is now completed with the ML10 SUB. Developed and manufactured with the same uncompromising approach as all BRAX loudspeakers, this subwoofer is the acoustic benchmark against which all others are measured.

Perfection meets maximum flexibility
With the ML10 SUB, achieving extremely tight and maximally controlled bass reproduction is easier than ever, thanks to the use of the new 2 x 2 ohm dual voice coil, which offers significantly greater flexibility in drive configuration. The separate voice coils with their four solid binding posts allow for three different configurations – 1 x 4 ohms, 2 x 2 ohms, or 1 x 1 ohm total impedance with a massive 1,200 watts maximum power handling.

MicroSphere – The Perfect Synthesis of Weight and Rigidity
One of the secrets of the BRAX ML10 SUB lies hidden in its unique diaphragm, more precisely in its “MicroSphere” coating. This gives the hand-crafted cone the highest degree of acoustic precision for unparalleled sound reproduction. In this patented technology, ceramic micro-hollow spheres with a diameter of just 75 µm are embedded in a polymer layer and applied to the diaphragm. This special coating not only increases the diaphragm's rigidity but also its internal damping. These stabilizing measures, however, do not result in an increase in moving mass. Compared to other subwoofers, the diaphragm is even lighter, which not only allows for a lower overall Qts but also further improves the impulse response.

Its extremely linear drive magnet with precisely machined pole plates for minimal distortion, the large, multi-ventilated voice coil for maximum electrical power handling, and the aerodynamically optimized and stable die-cast basket guarantee uncompromising bass reproduction at the highest level. Naturally, this exceptional subwoofer also comes in an elegant wooden case and is marked with its own serial number, which is recorded in a service database.
