As a passionate music lover and hi-fi enthusiast, company founder Heinz Fischer had a vision: to be the first to bring the magnificent audio experience of legendary high-end hi-fi components into the automobile. With such an ambitious goal in mind, its realization could only succeed with absolute uncompromising design, technology, and sound. True to this guiding principle, the focus in the development of our GRAPHIC loudspeaker series was on pure, unadulterated music reproduction, consistently implemented with the latest technologies and the highest quality materials – naturally, Made in Germany.

Exceptional midrange reproduction with a wide application range

Curtain up for the newest member of the BRAX GRAPHIC loudspeaker series: The BRAX GL2! This 50 mm / 2" midrange driver is truly special in many respects. During its lengthy development process, no expense was spared to create an uncompromising loudspeaker, the kind you would expect from BRAX. Every single component – from the basket to the diaphragm – was redesigned and manufactured using custom-made tools. This enormous effort is evident not only in its outstanding sound characteristics but also in its unusually compact form factor, which opens up entirely new installation possibilities. Even better: thanks to its exceptionally wide frequency response, the GL2 can even be used without an additional tweeter, coming remarkably close to the ideal of a point source and elevating the spatial imaging of music in the vehicle to a whole new level. The extremely rigid aluminum diaphragm, designed by Dr. Kurt Müller, ensures exceptionally natural midrange reproduction with a particularly dynamic sound signature, while the precisely manufactured neodymium magnet system, with its optimally linear magnetic flux, contributes to the exceptionally low distortion. All of this clearly demonstrates that, with all its technical refinements, the GL2 delivers exceptional performance. in its own league.

High-quality design with functional features

As is typical for BRAX, design and function are seamlessly integrated: To round off the purist, elegant look, the 24-karat gold-plated connectors are of course a must to ensure maximum conductivity. The black grille provides optimal protection for the diaphragm against damage and underlines the minimalist aesthetic, while the threaded hole on the back allows for discreet integration into the vehicle interior.

Thought through to the last detail

The exceptional level of quality and attention to detail automatically elevate the GL2 to the reference class and should satisfy even the highest sound demands of true hi-fi enthusiasts. As is customary for BRAX, each pair of speakers is given its own serial number and recorded in a service database. This high-end product – Made in Germany – is also presented in an elegant wooden box, further emphasizing the BRAX brand philosophy.
