The innovative, exceptionally lightweight and finely woven silk dome with a viscoelastic, double-sided Acronal coating ensures brilliant and velvety-smooth high-frequency reproduction. The integrated coupling volume, damped with pure sheep's wool, enables a particularly low resonance frequency and thus allows for deep acoustic coupling. In terms of design and technology, the BRAX philosophy is consistently upheld: The understated, elegant appearance reveals smart details such as the two-part, solid stainless steel housing for maximum heat dissipation, the extremely precisely manufactured, 8-way vented neodymium magnet for optimal linear magnetic flux, the integrated, 24-karat gold-plated binding posts for maximum conductivity, the threaded mounting ring with a solid base plate on the back of the housing for concealed mounting, and the sturdy grille for optimal protection of the tweeter dome from damage. To fully meet our high quality standards, the loudspeakers are hand-selected for perfect sonic synergy and paired based on their acoustic parameters. Each pair is then recorded with a serial number in a service database. This high-end product is completed by its elegant wooden box packaging, which further underscores the BRAX brand philosophy.
