The new "San Diego" is RetroSound's first car radio with DAB+ radio, Bluetooth hands-free calling, A2DP audio streaming, and Apple iPod/iPhone control. The new push-button operation is a true breakthrough in sound systems for classic vehicles. Naturally, the "San Diego" also features RetroSound's flexible, patented "InfiniMount" mounting system and control knobs. With this single unit, you retain the classic car's design without sacrificing modern digital media. Two USB and two AUX inputs on the rear panel allow you to connect external MP3 players, such as an iPod or DAB+ receiver.

The unit comes complete with a mounting bezel and a set of knobs for Opel, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and many other vehicles from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Any concerns that installing a RetroSound car radio might jeopardize your historic vehicle registration are unfounded. There is confirmation, with the approval of the entire AKE working group (TÜV SÜD, TÜV Rheinland, TÜV Nord, Dekra, KÜS, GTÜ), stating that the RetroSound "Model Hermosa", "Model Classic", and the RetroSound "San Diego", including vehicle-specific faceplates and control buttons, may be installed in classic cars with H-plates and will not prevent the issuance of an H-plate!
