Option Rock-8 bass reflex subwoofer for the VAG spare wheel rim, 2x2 ohms

The ROCK-8-D2 is a passive bass-reflex subwoofer that, thanks to its 20 cm driver and 200 watts RMS power handling, delivers impressive, deep bass for a powerful listening experience. The ROCK-8-D2 features two voice coils, each with an impedance of 2 ohms, allowing for flexible matching with various amplifiers. Its design is tailored to fit inside a standard 16" spare tire well, making it compatible with all 16" and larger spare tire wells. The OEM-style design ensures that the bass reflex subwoofer perfectly matches the original look of your vehicle without affecting the interior. The following impedance options are available for this subwoofer: 2x2 ohms, 1x1 ohm, or 1x4 ohms. For other installation requirements, the ROCK-8-D4 variant with 2x4 ohms is also available. Compatibility with BEATS sound systems:

SEAT / Cupra / VW Beats sound systems come standard with a 16cm subwoofer in a sealed plastic enclosure.

Our Rock-8 subwoofers, whether Rock-8D2 or Rock-8D4, produce a richer and more intense bass than the original Beats subwoofer thanks to a larger 20cm driver and an additional bass reflex port. Upgrading to a Rock-8 subwoofer is therefore always recommended. However, there is a small but important difference between the Rock-8D2 and Rock-8D4: The Rock-8D2 is designed exclusively for direct connection to the Beats amplifier or 8-channel ARS sound upgrade. The Rock-8D2 spare tire subwoofer can be connected directly to the Beats sound system. With its 2x2 ohm impedance, this subwoofer delivers maximum performance directly from the Beats sound system and is approximately 2dB louder than the Rock-8D4. Alternatively, it can be used with one of our 8-channel DSP sound upgrades with MATCH UP8DSP. The ROCK-8-D2 is therefore only recommended if you want maximum bass performance with the Beats amplifier or 8-channel ARS sound upgrade. Important note: The ROCK-8-D2 is not compatible with our 5-channel sound upgrades with MATCH M5.4DSP!
