Integration into the vehicle is simple via the included plug & play wiring harness – no cables need to be made or cut. The vehicle-specific DSP configuration is provided by the comprehensive sound setup database at www.audiotec-fischer.de.

The MATCH Extension Card slot allows the device to be expanded with additional interfaces such as a Bluetooth® audio streaming module or a high-resolution audio USB sound card.

Furthermore, the PP 62DSP offers the option of driving additional amplifiers via its 2-channel preamplifier output. With the help of the professional yet user-friendly DSP PC-Tool software, creating a customized sound setup is also very easy. The PP 62DSP can optionally be configured as a 6-channel amplifier with 8 DSP channels, so that even the most discerning sound enthusiast will be fully satisfied. The MATCH PP 62DSP amplifier can be expanded with additional functions by installing a MATCH Extension Card (MEC) – for example, a Bluetooth® audio streaming function, an optical digital input, or an AUX input.

Intelligent High-Level Input ADEP.2

Modern, factory-installed car radios are becoming increasingly intelligent in terms of diagnosing the connected speakers. If an amplifier is connected to the radio instead, error messages usually occur, sometimes even resulting in the loss of individual functions (such as the fader). Furthermore, new circuit designs in some radios create asymmetries in the output signal, which can lead to overload in the A/D converter. The new ADEP.2 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection Generation 2) prevents all these problems without unnecessarily stressing the radio's speaker outputs at high levels. Power Save Mode: The Power Save Mode is implemented as standard in all vehicle-specific sound setups as well as in the basic settings of the DSP PC-Tool software. It allows the power consumption of the PP 62DSP (and any additionally connected amplifiers) to be drastically reduced when no input signal is present for more than 60 seconds. It should be noted that many vehicles nowadays are equipped with "CAN" or similar internal bus systems that keep the radio switched on "invisibly" to the user for up to 45 minutes, even if the vehicle has been left and locked. Once the "Power Save Mode" is active, the internal amplifier stages of the PP 62DSP and the remote output are switched off, thereby reducing the current consumption to less than 250 mA. The amplifier returns to normal operation within 2 seconds as soon as a music signal is present at its input. It is also possible to vary the switch-off delay or to completely deactivate the "Power Save Mode" using the DSP PC-Tool software. The microSD card reader is used to configure the DSP in the amplifier without having to connect a PC. A large number of vehicle-specific setups are available for free download on the website www.audiotec-fischer.com. Simply download the desired setup and copy it to a microSD card. Then insert the microSD card into the amplifier, and the transfer to the internal memory will start automatically. The amplifier is now fully configured to significantly enhance the sound of your vehicle's standard sound system.
