Visually, the system has been significantly improved. The basket, with its new satin black coating and ETON-branded rubber cap, looks much more appealing. The dome tweeter is now printed, visually conveying the high-quality manufacturing of the driver. The diaphragm is made of a glass/paper composite, guaranteeing a perfectly balanced sound and tuned for incredibly deep bass – a hallmark of the POW series. The Eton POW 172.2 is also characterized by its ability to handle even demanding music material with ease.

A new, more powerful magnet and a redesigned base plate complete the system's appearance. The woofer's 3-ohm impedance extracts extra power from the amplifier or radio, while the 25 mm aluminum-coated tweeter delivers sparkling, crystal-clear highs and impresses with a wealth of detail.
