THE “BEST” Spare Wheel Subwoofer with Center Mounting

The ESX V1100A is arguably the best spare wheel active subwoofer available on the market, allowing the wheel to remain in the vehicle even after installation. Made of die-cast aluminum, the V1100 even surpasses some conventionally manufactured enclosure subwoofers. Highest Quality Components
The V1100A uses a high-end driver with a 28cm stainless steel cone and a 3-inch (76mm) voice coil, specifically designed for use in ultra-compact enclosures. Such a good result would not have been possible with conventional speaker drivers. The woofer is driven by a full-fledged Class A/B MOSFET amplifier that delivers up to 300 watts at 2 ohms.

Best equipped
The active subwoofer can be optimally connected via high-level or RCA inputs; auto-turn-on and Molex connectors facilitate easy installation. Input level, low-pass filter, bass boost, and even the phase can be fully adjusted using the included remote control. Thanks to the backlighting, the stylish remote control is also very easy to use in the dark.

Simple but ingenious mounting
Since the housing also serves as the speaker basket and is made from a single piece, a very clever mounting solution was achieved: A second seal seals the housing on the inside and allows a screw to be inserted through the resulting core hole, which is then screwed onto the original spare wheel mounting point. Due to its small diameter (approx. 36 cm), the sub can even be mounted in a rim as small as 15 inches!
