Drive10Flat BRP D2 2 X 2 Ohm Subwoofer Spare Wheel | OPTION

The OPTION DRIVE-10Flat BRP D2 is an ultra-slim spare wheel subwoofer, perfect for vehicles with limited height in the spare wheel well. This subwoofer even features a bass reflex port to deliver powerful reproduction of very low bass frequencies. With a power handling of 300 watts RMS and a dual voice coil with 2 ohms per coil, this passive subwoofer provides deep, precise bass without taking up much space. Thanks to its compact design, with a diameter of 61 cm and a height of only 13 cm, it is ideal for installation in a spare wheel well, where it discreetly provides an impressive sound experience. This ultra-slim enclosure is made possible by our Option Air10 subwoofer driver, as this high-quality subwoofer is equipped with an extremely flat neodymium magnet, thus saving installation depth and weight without sacrificing any performance. Subwoofer compatibility with SEAT Beats sound systems: This subwoofer, with its 2x2 ohm voice coils, is perfectly suited for SEAT Beats sound systems. It can be used directly in place of the Beats subwoofer and, thanks to its large 25cm diaphragm, produces significantly more bass than the factory Beats subwoofer. Installation is incredibly easy, as you simply replace the Beats subwoofer with the Drive-10Flat BRP-D2. IMPORTANT: The Drive10BRP-D2 is designed to be connected directly to the Beats sound system only. If you have an ARS sound upgrade with a DSP amplifier installed in your SEAT, you absolutely need the Drive10BRP-D4 subwoofer.

The Drive10BRP-D4 is compatible with the Beats sound system and the ARS sound upgrade, but directly connected to the Beats sound system it only delivers about 85% of the bass performance compared to the Drive10BRP-D4, and only with the ARS sound upgrade does it achieve the full 100%.

Not recommended for Skoda-Canton-VW-Tiguan-Harman Kardon systems:

The Drive 10 Flat D2 and D4, and Rock-8D4 or Rock8D2 are not recommended as replacements for Skoda-Canton and VW Tiguan-Harman Kardon systems, as the original subwoofers have an impedance of 8 ohms per voice coil and the factory amplifiers cannot handle the lower impedances of the Air subwoofers.

For other installation requirements, this subwoofer is also available in a version with 2x4 ohms.
