The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between the i7 and i3 series, created for discerning music lovers with a burning ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A fusion of phenomenal sound and unsurpassed practicality: Developed with the vision of unique loudspeaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. The impedances of all loudspeakers are perfectly matched to our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. Furthermore, we have implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies, which offer unparalleled practical benefits.

Precise Midrange for Demanding Multi-Way Systems

The Ci5 M80FM-S3 was developed as an audiophile midrange driver that enables exceptionally precise midrange reproduction in high-quality three-way systems. Its wide linear frequency response, high power handling, and large linear diaphragm excursion make it ideal for applications where clarity, naturalness, and dynamics at high levels are paramount.
Thanks to its significantly reduced outer diameter compared to conventional 80 mm drivers, the Ci5 M80FM-S3 also offers first-class integration possibilities – for example, in tight OEM installation spaces thanks to FlexMount technology, without compromising diaphragm area. This makes it ideal for demanding multi-way systems, DSP-optimized setups, or vehicles where precise midrange reproduction and a compact design are equally important.

Constructive sophistication for dynamics, efficiency, and low distortion

The exceptional performance of the Ci5 M80FM-S3 is based on a sophisticated combination of material selection and mechanical design. The silicate-coated paper cone impresses with high internal damping, remarkably accurate midrange response, and suppresses unwanted resonances. The specially developed, inwardly folded cone surround, created using a complex manufacturing process, allows for a large linear cone excursion in conjunction with the innovative magnet system – a crucial factor for the high power handling and low-distortion reproduction that allows the Ci5 M80FM-S3 to remain composed even at demanding volume levels.
Furthermore, it significantly reduces the outer diameter while simultaneously increasing the cone area. The result is a compact design with maximum performance. The overall concept is complemented by an aluminum dust cap for optimizing the upper midrange and the powerful push-pull neodymium magnet system, which, with its high efficiency and minimal distortion, significantly contributes to the precise, dynamic sound characteristics of the Ci5 M80FM-S3.

Maximum Efficiency

HELIX COMPOSE stands for smart engineering and is therefore based on highly efficient 3-ohm technology, which harmonizes perfectly with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and simultaneously enables a noticeably improved efficiency and maximum sound pressure level.

High-Tech Polymer Composite Basket

The speaker basket of the Ci5 M80FM-S3 is made of a high-tech polymer composite material, which is additionally reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnet system and providing maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, this allows for significantly more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installation in confined spaces.

FlexMount80 – Universal Meets Vehicle-Specific

FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings, which enables the installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in a virtually unlimited number of vehicles. This transforms the universal speaker into a vehicle-specific speaker in no time, which can be easily and acoustically optimized for installation in the original mounting position of any vehicle using the appropriate FlexMount ring.

FlexConnect – One Terminal for All Cases

With the FlexConnect terminal, HELIX COMPOSE speakers can be easily connected directly to the vehicle's original wiring harness, thus maintaining the automotive standard of the connector and additionally ensuring protection against reverse polarity, among other things. Similar to our FlexMount system, vehicle-specific adapters are used here.

WireKits – Plug & Play at the highest level

With our WireKits, connecting HELIX COMPOSE components to the original wiring harness or, if necessary, the connection between the speaker and crossover is easily possible. Manufactured to the high standards of the automotive industry, these lockable adapter cables meet all the requirements for the harsh environmental conditions in vehicles.
