With a clear influence from its high-end sister brand BRAX, the i7 loudspeaker series is entirely "Made in Germany" and optimized for pure musical enjoyment. The impedances of all speakers are perfectly matched to our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. Furthermore, we have implemented new mechanical technologies in HELIX COMPOSE, which offer unparalleled practical benefits.

Maximum Efficiency

HELIX COMPOSE stands for smart engineering and is therefore based on highly efficient 3-ohm technology, which harmonizes perfectly with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and simultaneously enables a noticeably improved efficiency and maximum sound pressure level.

High-End Coaxial Coincidence Loudspeaker

The Ci7 C165.2FM-S3 is a unique coaxial loudspeaker that combines the best of the Ci7 W165FM-S3 high-end mid-woofer and the Ci7 T20FM-SC high-end tweeter. Due to its sophisticated design, the Ci7 C165.2FM-S3 is not just a simple coaxial loudspeaker, but a true coincidence transducer. This offers the advantage that the sound from both speakers is generated absolutely simultaneously, thus making the speaker a point source of sound. This results in extremely precise and time-coherent sound reproduction, which is particularly advantageous in acoustically demanding environments and logically complements the COMPOSE platform with another smart, practical solution. With the i7-familiar UHD paper cone and the silk dome tweeter including an integrated coupling volume damped with pure sheep's wool, the C165.2FM-S3 achieves an exceptional combination of powerful, precise low-midrange and brilliant, velvety highs. The alignment of the drivers along the same sound generation axis ensures optimal phase coherence and a consistent sound image. This makes the C165.2FM-S3 a versatile solution for audiophiles who want to experience a coherent soundstage from a single speaker position without sacrificing the intelligence and ease of integration of the COMPOSE platform. High-Tech Polymer Composite Basket: All HELIX COMPOSE i7 and i3 speaker baskets are made from a high-tech polymer composite material, which is further reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnet system and providing maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, this allows for significantly more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installations in confined spaces.

FlexMount165 – Universal meets vehicle-specific

FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings, which enables the installation of COMPOSE FlexMount loudspeakers in a virtually unlimited number of vehicles. This transforms the universal speaker into a vehicle-specific speaker in no time, which can be easily and acoustically optimized for installation in the original mounting position of any vehicle using the appropriate FlexMount ring.

ProConnect – The New Industry Standard

Our innovative ProConnect terminal for the subwoofer reflects the new industry standard: This is a professional, automotive connector designed for a secure connection with our WireKits, but also allows the use of conventional speaker cables as well as vehicle-specific adapter cables via flat connectors, thus offering maximum flexibility when designing your sound system upgrade. Furthermore, the connector is locked, offers reverse polarity protection, and is highly robust both electrically and mechanically.

Important: The speaker does not have an integrated crossover. For active operation, two DSP amplifier channels per speaker are required. Additionally, a high-pass filter for the tweeter must be set in the upstream DSP or DSP amplifier. Alternatively, the separately available Ci7 FX-UNI.2 crossover can be used.
