The C FOUR is a top-of-the-line 4-channel amplifier whose design is dedicated to perfect sound down to the last detail. An ultra-low-noise and low-distortion Class A driver stage controls a total of 32 hand-selected power MOSFETs, which, with a damping factor of 1,000, have any loudspeaker firmly under control. Intelligent power supply regulation also ensures stable operation by keeping the supply voltage to the amplifier's output transistors constant. Thus, the phenomenal performance of the C FOUR is independent of the operating voltage. The C FOUR achieves the perfect transition to the digital world with the optionally available HDM 2 SPDIF input module. This module receives digital audio signals up to a 96 kHz sampling rate losslessly via optical fiber and converts them back to the analog domain using two latest-generation BurrBrown stereo D/A converters with 32-bit resolution. Thus, the C FOUR is absolutely future-proof and perfectly equipped for combination with our digital signal processors.

Start-stop capability

The power supply in the HELIX C FOUR amplifier ensures the internal voltage supply even during short-term dips down to 6 volts. This ensures that the HELIX C FOUR remains fully functional even when the engine is started.
