AMPIRE Premium Bluetooth Receiver, Cinch, 12 Volt, aptX
If you want to listen to your music, audiobooks, or navigation from your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth® in maximum sound quality in your car, then the BTR series Bluetooth® receivers with aptX® are the solution. You can retrofit most navigation and car radio systems with Ampire's Bluetooth® receivers for wireless A2DP audio streaming. The connection is easy to set up and is automatically re-established via Bluetooth® 4.0. The BTR series uses the Bluetooth® protocol for headphones with your smartphone and does not affect the functionality of your Bluetooth® hands-free system. The BTR100X Bluetooth® receiver is designed for navigation and car radio systems with RCA inputs and a 12-volt electrical system. Want to listen to CD-quality Bluetooth® with aptX®? As an alternative to standard Bluetooth®, we also offer receivers with the Bluetooth® aptX® codec. This codec is becoming increasingly popular. Using devices with the aptX standard significantly improves the sound quality of your Bluetooth® streams.
What improves Bluetooth® aptX®?
The aptX® codec uses a more efficient method for compressing audio data, making better use of available bandwidth. A prerequisite for aptX® streaming is that both the playback device and the sender support Bluetooth aptX®. This feature is indicated by the aptX® logo on the device. The codec supports common audio formats such as MP3 and FLAC.
Which smartphones support Bluetooth® aptX®?
Not all Android smartphones support the Bluetooth® aptX® codec. You can check your Android smartphone's specifications to see if it's compatible. An Apple iPhone does not support the Bluetooth® codec aptX®.
