The PRO 1/10 is unlike any other monoblock amplifier on the market that isn't solely designed as a subwoofer power amplifier. Not only does it operate full-range when needed, but it also features two operating modes: Sound and Power. As the name suggests, Power mode delivers a boost in power. However, Sound mode isn't simply a Power mode with its peak power capped – that would be pointless. Power mode is best compared to a standard Class D amplifier. This design is optimized for maximum power output, extracting every last watt from the circuit. In Sound mode, the PRO 1/10 sacrifices some peak power, but in return, it offers optimized signal processing. Our flagship A-CLASS model served as the benchmark for this signal processing. The result is an amplifier capable of far more than "just" powering a subwoofer. With its full-range capability, the PRO 1/10 is ideally suited to function as a dual-mono amplifier, taking on the tasks of a high-class stereo power amplifier, or even to fully active, channel-separated designs with highly efficient operation – all with competitive sound quality.
