Wireless HD audio transmission via Bluetooth®

The BT HD Extension Card adds a Bluetooth® audio streaming function to your HELIX DSP product, enabling HD audio streaming at up to 576 kbps and 24-bit/48 kHz thanks to the BT5.0 standard. The SBC, AAC, aptX, and aptX HD audio codecs are supported. An optical digital output in SPDIF format is also included.

High Definition Audio

Thanks to the Qualcomm® aptX™ HD audio codec, wireless and consistent HD audio transmission is possible. Furthermore, the direct processing of digital signals from the BT HD module to the DSP without additional AD/DA conversion ensures lossless signal processing and thus unparalleled sound performance.

Full Control

The HEC BT HD supports control commands such as play/pause, track forward/back, and connecting, pairing, and disconnecting a connected DSP remote control (e.g., CONDUCTOR and DIRECTOR). The DIRECTOR's display also shows the current artist and track title, as well as the currently used audio codec.

Wireless DSP Tuning

The increased data transmission of the BT5.0 standard, in conjunction with the upcoming DSP PC-Tool software version 5 (available in early 2022) and a PC with Bluetooth® wireless technology, enables wireless configuration of all DSP devices with the ACO platform. Cumbersome USB cable connections are now a thing of the past. Everything included: A device-specific side panel and a high-quality antenna for optimal reception are, of course, included for seamless installation.
