The HELIX BT HD STREAMER combines modern high-definition audio streaming with exceptional practicality. Thanks to its optical output, it can be conveniently connected to DSPs and DSP amplifiers – and thus as part of a completely digital, lossless signal routing system. In addition, there is an extra digital input with passthrough function: This allows the incoming signal to be directly forwarded to the optical output, guaranteeing optimal flexibility without losing this connection – ideal for audio setups where another digital audio player needs to be integrated. Furthermore, thanks to the implemented standby mode, the streamer ensures excellent audio enjoyment, especially in vehicles where comfort, efficiency, and smart retrofit solutions are particularly important. This makes it especially advantageous for use in motorhomes, campers, and classic cars without a modern head unit. Exceptional sound quality thanks to modern streaming technologies: The integration of the Qualcomm® aptX™ HD codec ensures consistently high-level sound quality with our streamer. This advanced codec enables high-definition Bluetooth® audio transmission, which, with its extraordinary depth and clarity, creates an exceptional listening experience for discerning listeners, comparable to that of wired connections. This establishes an authentic, wireless connection at 24-bit/48kHz as the new benchmark. The streamer also supports the standard Qualcomm® aptX™ codec, guaranteeing improved audio quality even for users of older Bluetooth® wireless devices. Additionally, it supports the Bluetooth® AAC codec, which is specifically optimized for Apple users. This codec ensures high-quality audio transmission for devices in the Apple ecosystem, which of course also offers iPhone and iPad users excellent music enjoyment. Efficiency and Convenience: The Standby Mode. Modern streaming is characterized by user-friendliness and convenience at the highest level, which is why the BT HD STREAMER has a standby mode: This is activated by a simple switch and puts the HELIX BT HD STREAMER into an energy-saving mode with a power consumption of only 3mA. As soon as a smartphone connection to the streamer is established, it "wakes up" and generates a remote signal, which in turn switches on the entire sound system. This seamless transition ensures convenient music enjoyment without turning on the ignition, while simultaneously conserving the vehicle battery, which is particularly advantageous in classic cars without a head unit, as well as campers and motorhomes. Optional hands-free function: Communication made easy. The integration of the optional hands-free function, in particular, clearly distinguishes the HELIX BT HD STREAMER from other Bluetooth® streaming devices on the market. With the separately available HELIX BT HD Hands-Free Microphone Kit, the streamer transforms your vehicle into a modern communication hub – even without a head unit. Here, the streamer's "Echo Cancelling" and "Noise Suppression" technologies come into play:

• Noise Cancelling: The algorithm in the HELIX BT HD streamer's BT chip filters out background noise such as vehicle sounds and road noise to enable clear communication while driving.
• Echo Suppression: This feature prevents echoes during conversations by minimizing audio feedback between the speaker and microphone, thus improving call quality.
• Speech Enhancement: This optimizes the driver's voice pickup by improving voice clarity and intelligibility and reducing background noise. Furthermore, automatic volume correction evens out differences in conversation volume, ensuring that even people further away are clearly audible.
