It all began with the vision of music lover and company founder Heinz Fischer: to be the first to bring the magnificent audio experience of legendary high-end hi-fi components into the car. True to this guiding principle, the focus during the development of our new BRAX GRAPHIC loudspeaker series was on pure, unadulterated music reproduction, consistently implemented with the latest technologies and the highest quality materials – naturally, Made in Germany.

A perfect team with maximum sonic harmony

The high-end GL3 cone midrange driver is the latest addition to the successful BRAX GRAPHIC loudspeaker series and the ideal complement for exceptional three-way configurations in combination with the GL1 tweeter and the GL6 mid-bass driver. Its lively, dynamic sound characteristics and exceptionally wide frequency range make the GL3 ideal for soaring acoustic experiences.

MicroSphere – the material for maximum acoustic precision

At the heart of this midrange driver is its exceptionally lightweight paper cone with a modified "MicroSphere" coating, whose extremely precise and detailed reproduction harmonizes perfectly with the other loudspeakers in the GRAPHIC series. This patented technology involves embedding ceramic micro-hollow spheres with a diameter of just 75 µm in a polymer layer and applying them to the cone.

State-of-the-art technology

The cone is driven by a highly linear neodymium magnet system, which is integrated into the aerodynamically optimized die-cast aluminum basket. The perfect ventilation of the long-throw voice coil not only ensures excellent thermal stability but also prevents compression effects from occurring in the first place. The soft diaphragm suspension ensures an extremely low resonance frequency, thus enabling low crossover frequency, ideally suited for fully active systems.

The attention to every last detail manifests the GL3 as a reference-level BRAX loudspeaker that consistently meets the highest sonic demands.
True to BRAX tradition, each pair of loudspeakers is assigned its own serial number and recorded in a service database. This high-end product – Made in Germany – is also rounded off by its elegant wooden box packaging, further emphasizing the BRAX brand philosophy.
