The second generation of the Alpine Halo9 features a high-resolution HD display, wireless Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, further improved sound quality, and many other innovations and enhancements. The iLX-F905TRA is available as a complete kit for the Ford Transit Custom (from model year 2018 onwards). It includes all necessary installation parts and interfaces for full integration into the vehicle's system. 9-inch WXGA HD Touchscreen: The large 9-inch (23 cm) HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720p (WXGA), making icons, menus, and visual content even clearer and more vibrant on your dashboard. The continuously tiltable screen is permanently attached to the 1-DIN housing and can be installed in almost any 1-DIN or 2-DIN slot. Apple CarPlay Wireless: For even greater convenience, the iLX-F905TRA offers wireless connectivity with your iPhone via Apple CarPlay Wireless. This allows iPhone users to keep their phone in their pocket while in the vehicle and conveniently make calls, check and reply to text messages, use music apps, and even get navigation. Apple CarPlay is accessed via the capacitive touchscreen or the voice control button to activate Siri voice control. Steering Wheel Controls: If your Ford Transit Custom is equipped with steering wheel controls, you can also use them with the iLX-F905TRA. Tiltable Screen: You can adjust the screen on the iLX-F905TRA continuously from +45 degrees to -20 degrees for optimal readability and to avoid glare. Adjustable Height and Depth: The display height can be adjusted by +/- 3 cm from the center position before installation. This ensures that previously obscured switches and buttons on the dashboard remain easily accessible. Additionally, the installation depth, and thus the distance between the dashboard and the display, can also be adjusted within a range of 20 mm before installation. Parking Assistance Technology: The optional reversing camera systems offer even greater safety with state-of-the-art camera technology. The reversing camera activates automatically when reversing and interrupts the audio signal, so you can still hear the parking sensors. You not only have a clear view to the rear, but also special guide lines. You can even activate a trailer hitch guide line to make hitching your trailer much easier. A direct camera button is provided for quick access while driving.
